This project brings a Blender-modelled Themis statue into a three.js scene to turn a classic law firm website into a desktop-focused, 3D interactive experience. On page load, users are welcomed with camera and lighting animations around the statue, then move into separate 3D scenes linked to each practice area.
A brief overview of the tools we used and the concrete pieces we delivered, from 3D modelling in Blender to the live three.js implementation in the browser.
A Blender-modelled Themis statue sits at the centre of the hero, rendered with three.js and subtle rotation to anchor the whole experience.
Each legal area (consultancy, contracts, criminal, labour, real estate) triggers its own GLTF model and content, with animated transitions between objects.
One scene is dedicated to the main Themis hero, while a second scene handles the service-specific models, each with its own camera and renderer.
On first load, the camera moves from the base of the statue up to the face, while the model rotation and lights animate on a shared tween timeline.
Directional and fill lights react softly to mouse movement, and a trailing custom cursor adds a subtle interaction layer over the whole layout.
Draco-compressed models are loaded through a custom loading manager and overlay, and mobile visitors see a dedicated notice about the desktop-optimised experience.
